Work is interrupting my life

I'm working (gasp!) both days this weekend, and I'm pretty resentful that I actually have to interrupt my life (and knitting) for work.

This morning we went down to Pa Bits (or Providence) for a marriage equality rally. We cut out early due to a little hypoglycemia, and headed to the mall for Indian food. While we were there, I bought a new pair of sneakers for walking. My sneaker selection is decidedly more punk than athletic- I've been attempting to get back in shape and I need something that looks dorky but feels comfy.

So now we're home, and I'm going to try to sneak in some knitting before I head out. Today I cast on for the Falling Leaves scarf/shawl. I'm a little bored with my armwarmers, and I need a side project.

Annabelle was in a bit of a mood
until Jenn found a sign for her.

Enzo must also hold the sign.
He has an appropriate serious expression.

I love that my kids love Indian food.
When I was in labor with Annabelle, I breathed
through my contractions in Kabob N Curry, because
labor was not going to stop me from getting my saag.
She smelled like Indian spices for her first few days.

The kids refer to the State House as "Daddy's Office"
