We're trying to get into the swing of summer, except it's decidedly un-summer-like. We've been trying to pretend it's summer, but strawberry picking just isn't the same when the strawberries are cold.
Tomorrow we leave on a mini end-of-session vacation. The weather report does not look good. It looks like we'll be spending a lot of time at the hotel.

I spent an entire afternoon going to garden centers in search
of my favorite purple annual. No luck, though.
