I looked at the weather forecast for the next few days and decided that today was our last shot. Also, the kids have been EVIL to each other, and they can not do this when they are strapped into the car. I convinced my friend Kelly that laundry and errands can wait until tomorrow, and that she'd much rather spend the day in 1809.
About halfway through the village, the love for my children had returned. The smell of dirt and old school cooking and fresh milled wood makes me happy. I think we'll end up springing for the family membership in the fall.
